Mieux encore, on sent qu\u2019avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de Fabien Gabel \u00e0 la direction musicale s\u2019ouvre un nouveau chapitre dans l\u2019histoire de l\u2019OSQ.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le CD r\u00e9alis\u00e9 au Palais Montcalm avec l\u2019Orchestre symphonique de Qu\u00e9bec (OSQ) et son chef Fabien Gabel arrive chez votre disquaire pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 mardi. On y retrouve des oeuvres de Saint-Sa\u00ebns (<em>Concerto en la mineur<\/em>, <em>Allegro appassionato<\/em>, <em>Le cygne<\/em>) et de Tcha\u00efkovski (<em>Variations sur un th\u00e8me rococo<\/em> et <em>Pezzo capriccioso<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>De la chance, St\u00e9phane T\u00e9treault en a d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment beaucoup. Depuis le mois de janvier, il joue sur le \u00ab Comtesse de Stainlein \u00bb, un stradivarius de 1707 qui a jadis appartenu \u00e0 Paganini. Bernard Greenhouse, du trio Beaux-Arts, a v\u00e9cu 54\u00a0ann\u00e9es de passion quasi amoureuse avec l\u2019instrument avant que la mort les s\u00e9pare, en mai 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Quelques mois plus tard, le violoncelle est mis en vente. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 de la m\u00e9c\u00e8ne Jacqueline Desmarais, St\u00e9phane T\u00e9treault devient \u00e0 18\u00a0ans l\u2019heureux titulaire d\u2019un bijou de six millions de dollars. Ce privil\u00e8ge lui est octroy\u00e9 pour une dur\u00e9e ind\u00e9termin\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Le b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire entend le conserver le plus longtemps possible. \u00ab Il y a beaucoup de secrets \u00e0 apprendre d\u2019un tel instrument, dit-il. Il vous donne la possibilit\u00e9 de vous am\u00e9liorer. Mais le plus important, c\u2019est de se rappeler qu\u2019on n\u2019a pas l\u2019instrument pour rien et qu\u2019on doit lui faire honneur.
