Valérie Milot and Stéphane Tétreault have each established themselves, with great success, impressive solo careers.
Both musicians have shared a common path, as far as distinctions, Revelation Radio Canada, New Discovery of the Year “Prix Opus” as well as Soloist in Residence of Montreal’s Orchestre Métropolitan under artistic dorector Maestro Yannik Nezet-Seguin.
As a duo, they perform as equal virtuosos, with a deep maturity, a mutual partnership, delivering an amazing compelling performance!
Valérie plays on an “Apollonia” harp, one of only thirteen in existence worldwide, crafted by the Italian luthier Salvi. This instrument, noted for its exceptionally powerful and rich sound, is graciously on loan to her from the Canimex company of Drummondville (Quebec / Canada), and belonging to the patron of the arts Roger Dubois. Stéphane plays the 1707 “Countess of Stainlein, Ex-Paganini” Stradivarius cello, on generous loan by Mrs. Sophie Desmarais.
